Well, it has a ruler along the bottom of it. This is for people who cannot write in a straight line. (me) Using this tool, you do not have to draw on journalling lines - which I hate doing because they never really fully disappear with an eraser and the eraser can wreck the paper and smudge the writing... You write along the loopy things. They are very pliable so that you can do the loop on g's and q's and f's... I think it's brilliant! I love it.
