Found another awesome knit dishcloth site. I don’t know why I’m so addicted to dishcloths, but I am. Super-addicted. Check out Knit Dishcloth Corner. The site is in French, but the patterns are available in English as well. Really beautiful work!

Now, I was under the impression that Tupperware was indeed infallible - that it would last for LIFE. Huh. Looky at these shots and tell me if that looks infallible?
I just put the lid on the container and pressed down in the centre (which is how this particular Tupperware container works, by the way).

Well, I did it. I finally did it. I went to T.O.’s Mary Maxim in the Yonge and Eglinton Centre. Hallelujah crafters, we have Mary Maxim. It’s smallish. I did not expect to find Noro there, and yet I did! And the new Patons SWS was there too. (soft, silky, luxurious, cozy). I was stash-for-gift shopping, if you know what I mean. I found all my needs/wants. I cannot tell you what any of that was, however, but I found lots of goodies. (I’m making 2 projects from Family Circle Easy Crochet. That magazine is DIVINE! I want to make lots of the projects in there!) I also found a Jacob outlet store there! YIKES! I bought: 2 pairs of pants 1 shilk camisole with sequins (really awesome – good I’m-not-old-although-my-birthday-is-coming kinda shirt) 1 silk sash belt with lovely sequins and embroidery Grand total: $28 I KNOW! Awesomesauce! Wednesday, January 10

Well, they may be a little late for Christmas this year, but these FO Labels are sure to inspire you to knit up something just so you can label them in such a beautiful manner. Perhaps Boo could make me up some of my own labels for dishcloths?? Hmmm??? Thanks to Sandy’s Knitting for pointing them out!

Hello all you Mason-Dixon Knitting lovers out there. I decided to visit the website finally and found an “errata” sheet for the book. What fun to be able to have new Mason-Dixon Knitting stories whenever I want. Yay! It’s like Chicken Soup for the Knitter’s Soul. Monday, January 1

Hey Boo, what do you think it could be? This is a little something I’ve been working on for you. Not sure if it will be ready for your birthday or not, maybe for CSNF April? Just thought I’d give you a little tease and see if you can guess what it is!
See? We had some snow for the Christmas holidays. Actually, we got snow on Boxing Day. That’s the unfrozen Ottawa River in the background.
The photo on the right is the view from the end of momma’s driveway, looking up the road. The farm that you can see in the middle is where Amber was babysat when she was little. The road is the road I had to trek in the cold winters out to the highway. Not a far walk – but everything is far when it’s 40 below.
Bandit showing Mommy what Santa brought him. Mr. Snowy already needs repair!
