I was bumbling around Monter Crochet's blog, mostly because I just love her creations. I found that she too does not warm up to the phrase "Not your Grandmother's crochet". Bless you!

She makes some fantastic points too. Thinking more on it, my grandma's granny and her mother did much more intricate and advanced work than I would even attempt. So, my work really ISN'T my grandmother's crochet because I haven't yet advanced to her level. I hope to some day!
