People love Knitty’s Kate. And so do I! If you’re thinking of knitting one up for yourself or for a wee one, may these lovely people inspire you to use up some of your stash and to create some cute and cuddly! Feel free to whip one up for me. God knows how much I love toys!! Knitting Fog is another free online knitting magazine. Very cool. I was just thinking that I needed some new knitty stuff. Lately I’ve been able to find crochet patterns and items much quicker and easier. Hmmm… That’s an interesting revelation!

My loving partner in life… my dear husband…. the man I’m spending the rest of my life with… the man who calls me wife…. my one and only…. He wrote this. I’m still trying to think of an appropriate punishment to mete out when he arrives back at Casa Disco. Perhaps I’ll change my blog name to: 8 Track Geezer on the Porch. It’s catchy…

Top Ten Signs You're Being Stalked by Martha Stewart10. You get a threatening note made up of letters cut out of a magazine with pinking shears, and they're all the same size, the same font, and precisely lined up in razor-sharp rows. 9. You find a lemon slice in the dog's water bowl. 8. On her TV show she makes a gingerbread house that looks exactly like your split-level, right down to the fallen licorice downspout and the half-open graham cracker garage door. 7. You find your pet bunny on the stove in an exquisite tarragon, rose petal & saffron demi-glace', with pecan-crusted hearts of palm and a delicate mint-fennel sauce. 6. The unmistakable aroma of potpourri follows you even after you leave the bathroom. 5. You discover that every napkin in the entire house has been folded into a swan. 4. No matter "where" you eat, your place setting always includes an oyster fork. 3. Twice this week you've been the victim of a drive-by doilying. 2. You wake up in the hospital with a concussion and endive stuffing in every orifice. AND THE NUMBER 1 Sign You're Being Stalked by Martha Stewart... 1. You awaken one morning with a glue gun pointed squarely at your temple.

Be careful with me this year. I have a new policy. If I feel you have not been particularly nice to me this year, I’ve found the gift for you. I’ll probably make a couple to have on standby just in case.

You must get it. I want to make nearly everything in it. I’ve never owned a book where not only is it full of instruction, but it’s also full of great patterns. It was worth the wait. But I just couldn’t wait any longer! Ladies, put this on your Mother’s Day wants list! You won’t be disappointed. If you’re familiar with Crochetville, then you’ll find some designers in there that you already know. I’m making the cowboy hat for the recipient of the cowboy baby booties ;) I’m also going to make Froufrou for me. Just get the book. Go. Now. Seriously.

Ok, this is a title I made up, but really, hop on over to Scrap Smart and do a product search for Knit and Crochet. Lovely stuff. I love the quotes! Wonderful images and quotes and a CD and album to create your own Heritage Knit and Crochet Album. If you love scrapbooking and knitting and crocheting, I think you’ll love it. I’ve been meaning to get an album going. I’m feeling some inspiration coming on. Thursday, March 9
