I love things like this. Letters to Esther is a collection of letters written to Esther Munro of Geneva, Indiana spanning from 1900-1960. It is so interesting and fun to read! I've often wanted to put together something like this. Actually, I may even have some letters from a dear soul who adopted me as her "granddaughter" a few years ago. She has since passed on and I miss her. I think putting together a book of "Letters from Gramma" would be fun and a nice way to remember her. I could do it scrapbook style. I love this idea. :)

When I was going through the stuff from gramma, there were letters from Uncle Rick to her...he was away somewhere but they were fun to read. Maybe I could use those for scrappin.

That sounds like a lovely idea! You could add some photos of her and Rick too. Maybe even some photos of the house. What else did you get?

well, we got all her photos, her entire coin collection, and just miscellaneous stuff (lots of patterns, recipes, newspaper clippings...) I'm going to go through it sometime this week.
