Angel Hugs is a charitable organization which donates knitted & crocheted blankets, preemie hats for hospitals, women's shelters, Children's Aid and other needy people. They have just opened a new chapter in Alberta. I love to see people using their craft to help make the world a better place.

I'm not making it purple however. I'm using Candy with Snowy. I've had to rip it out a few times and I think the pattern has an error in it. It only calls for one ball in the main colour for both the sweater and the hat. I'm nearly at the end of the ball and I haven't started the sleeves yet. I just love the "Pixie" yarn, even though it is a little difficult to work with. Hopefully, my niece will enjoy her new sweater and hat! I'll take a pic when I'm done!
