Knitty's much anticipated Winter 2003 stuff is online!!! Yay!! I love Kyoto and the Sound System Snugglers and I want to make Coronet, although I think wearing hats is a dying "art" (for lack of a better word). Most people hate wearing hats.

Knitting Diva makes handblown glass knitting needles and crochet hooks.
Judy Grill's latest line of needles feature double freshwater-pearl tops which adorn Holz and Stein ebony needles crafted in Germany from residual wood used in making musical instruments like violas and cellos. KnitKnack also has rhinestone, glass, silver, jeweled, cinnabar... You have to check them out! I have a case of the "I-wants"! I also see that Pony has some rosewood needles. The Pony Total Knitting System is a must-have! Circular, protectors and row counter all together. Good idea! Of course, I love bamboo needles. They are nice and light and I do find they are easy to knit with. You can see Crystal Palace's needles at Straw.com. (they also have free knitting patterns!!!) I'd love to try out some bamboo crochet hooks. Thursday, December 11

These bootie slippers are great! If I get around to it, I'm going to make myself a pair. :) I really feel like I need to make myself something. And poor Ross. I still need to work on his sweater!

While some of my Christmas projects can be blogged (some recipients do not blog), most cannot. Boxing day will be a big blog day for all crafters, won't it? All of our gifts will be piled up in the living room and we'll be parked in front of our computers with our coffee and Bailey's fervently blogging the last few months leading up to Christmas. I suppose I should be photographing what I'm working on. I'd love to, but the camera is is always with Ross. I don't think I've ever had it to myself. Maybe I'll ask for my own for Christmas. Ross did give me my own digital camera, then he took some pictures with it, viewed them on the computer and told me it was crap and not to use it until he had figured it out. So it sits in wait. If I really cared, I'd probably read it's manual and install the software and use it on my own, right? Right.
Back to Christmas projects. I'm crocheting a bible cover in Patons Astra - Crystal White. I love it. This is for my aunt who is a Chaplain Nurse at Yorkminster Church. I made a scarf for my sister with a Bernat Soft Boucle. It's variegated (and I think discontinued) - and that's the one I need the fringe for. I guess that's all I can mention right now. Ha! I have made a ton of stuff. I have a lot of finishing to do. Finishing, sminishing! I did some of that yesterday. It feels good to do the finishing, though. It's tedious and mundane, but once done, you feel so much better! Better get back to my projects! Christmas is coming fast! I will take pictures! I will!

These Santa Mittens are crocheted and would look great on Miss Keyz and Miss Dawn. For sure. Oh and don't forget the birthday girl, Miss Sierra!
