I need to do a fringe on a scarf. It needs a fringe. I can't find any instructions for fringes. I know it's relatively simple, but I do want it to look good!

ummmmmm....... so easy!!! eeek.... okay, so what i did was i crocheted an edge on the bottom of my scarf, i did mine four rows of single crochets, but i think it would be fine to do just one. then, i cut pieces of the wool i wanted the finge colour in, two strands that halved become the length i wanted them. halved them, and.... this is hard to explain!! and used my crochet hook to pull the loop through the crochet stitch on the edge, and pulled the long tails through. i did that for each stitch, then trimmed them all the same length.... does that make any sense??? call me and i'll talk ya through it!
good luck! Re: Fringe?

I know exactly what you mean. They stay like that? Sounds relatively painless!
