Yeah, well, you can never have just ONE project on the go. I think it's "Project Law" and is in the "Crafter's Code of Ethics". I am now working on a pair of slippers for my Aunt Kathy. The soles are knitted, then the rest is crocheted, complete with crocheted flowers on top. They are all white and right up her alley.
As for the "other" project, the big one, the non-transportable project - the one that shall only be worked on at home (and never when I am tired) is a sweater. It's extremely complicated and my poor little head spins every time I do a row. I'm using Patons Melody Quick and Cozy, otherwise known as a super-bulky weight. Normally knit with size 10mm needles, I'm using an 8mm, 29" circular knitting needle to make a sweatshirt style sweater, complete with pockets and a hood. Having been to Patons' website, I am now aware that the colour I have is discontinued! My colour is 910 which is a lovely shade of royal blue (fit for a king, of course!) The good news? It's machine washable and dryable! If I have extra (and I think I might) what will I do with the rest of it??
