Here are some Basic Instructions (Lord knows I need basic!) for the afghan stitch or Tunisian Crochet.I had no idea that was the same thing! Knitted Threads has more instructions. You will need an afghan hook which is much longer than the regular hooks. (I bought two ages ago for an awesome afghan pattern I have around here somewhere - don't ask me where it is!) Here is an Afghan Stitch Dishcloth.

If you need to learn what an "hdc" or "tr" is, Needlecraft University has all the instructions in the "Library". You'll also find instructions for knitting stitches. Make sense of all those nonsense sentences in patterns! :) They offer online classes for knitting, crochet and ribbon embroidery. (No, I don't think I need to take up a new craft just yet.) Classes are $15, $16, $20 that I can see. That's pretty reasonable! :)

More instructional for Knitting, Crochet, Cross Stitch and more at Stitch Guide.

While I'm at it, Knitted Threads also has free patterns :)
